Memorial Day is a federal holiday reserved in remembrance of those who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in our nation’s armed forces. While some may regard the holiday as a weekend full of cookouts, lounging by the pool, and drinking a cold beer or two, it’s important to remember the reason every American is afforded such freedoms.
If you’re visiting the south Atlantic coast this Memorial Day weekend, please consider the various tributes being held across the Georgia-Florida coast.
